Entertainment through journeys.

Stories have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. My love for different worlds and experiences was part of even my earliest childhood memories as my mom showed me books and films that let me see the world as much larger than I could ever fathom. As I grew older, this wanderlust never subsided. Even back in elementary school I already wrote about epic fantasy worlds and gruesome monsters that inhabited them. At some point, my desire to escape the world became a desire to offer others a “break from the world” as well, and so my focus became to offer others entry into places where they too could take a break.

Before my mind was set on Game Development, tabletop games came into my life, and I haven’t let go of them since. I immediately took the mantle of storyteller in order to run games and stories for my friends, which I have been doing for a decade now. Drawing maps, building worlds, and incorporating other people’s imaginations in my creations allowed me to explore these worlds that ran rampant in my mind. Eventually, I settled on Game Development to continue doing this for an even larger audience. As a writer, Narrative Designer, or Level Designer, all I wish to do is to provide a journey and a memorable experience.

I graduated from Breda University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Game Architecture & Design. During my study there, my worldview has expanded tremendously, learning about the many different walks of life, the unique angles and experiences each person possesses, and what beauty can be found in our world if you look deep enough. It has led to me building unbreakable bonds with people and the realization that everything is nuanced. I take that with me to this day in every interaction I have with people, and it has shown me that the world is kinder than I first gave it credit for.

Besides Game Development, I now love looking for the little bits of magic in real life. From folklore tales to fairy rings and whispers in the trees, the Fey and Fantasy we can choose to believe in enrich the world. I love to see in contrast to the granted world. Because of this, I love to organize themed parties, partake in cosplay, and create fun moments and positive energy wherever I go.

There are worse things than being compared to an Elf, if you ask me!
